I’m a qualified dog trainer and former primary school teacher with 18+ years of experience in behaviour-focused training.
My experience includes roles with Guide Dogs Victoria, leading the Puppy Development Program and RSPCA Victoria and now I focus on helping owners raise calm, well-behaved dogs through structured 1:1 coaching and development.

Frequently Asked Questions
What age should my puppy be before starting training?
The earlier the better. Puppy development can begin from the moment your puppy comes home, and we'll tailor the training to their age, development and individual needs.
Do you come to my home?
Yes. Training is personalised to you and your dog, with sessions conducted in your home and other real-life environments where appropriate.
Is your training reward-based?
Yes. I use positive, reward-based training methods designed to build understanding, confidence and a strong relationship between you and your dog.
Do I need to attend a puppy class?
No. My programs provide personalised 1:1 guidance based on your puppy, your lifestyle and the skills you want to develop. We will cover much more than the classes would cover and we are training where your puppy lives or spends their time.
Don't I need to socialise my dog at puppy classes?
No. Socialisation isn't about simply exposing puppies to other puppies. It's about positively introducing them to the people, places, environments, sounds and everyday experiences they'll encounter throughout life.
When it comes to other dogs, carefully chosen interactions with calm, friendly and known dogs is a more appropriate way to help your puppy develop good social skills.
Do you work with older dogs?
Yes. While puppy development is my specialty, I also work with older dogs experiencing challenges with behaviour, training or everyday life.
How many sessions will I need?
Every dog and family is different. My programs are designed to provide ongoing support rather than simply a set number of isolated training sessions. I'll recommend the most appropriate level of support based on your needs.
How much does training cost?
A Behaviour Assessment is $250 (this is separate to any program), with Development Programs available from $690 (includes behaviour assessment if applicable). Any behaviour assessments can be credited towards either program.
